What the analysis determines
The genus of mold present, its concentration, and where it originates. Air and surface samples are analyzed in the laboratory, and identification is reported by sampling location rather than as a single verdict for the building.
How the finding is established
Indoor air results are interpreted against an outdoor baseline collected the same day. An indoor spore count carries no meaning on its own — only relative to the outdoor environment at the moment of sampling. A report that omits that comparison cannot support a conclusion about the building.
What the report carries
Sampling locations, laboratory results, the outdoor comparison, and a written interpretation. The interpretation states what the data supports and, where it matters, what it does not.
Common questions
- Do you perform remediation?
- No. We perform assessment and analysis only, so a finding of contamination generates no work for us.
- Can you review an assessment performed by another consultant?
- Yes. Independent review of sampling design, chain of custody, and the reasoning that connects data to conclusion is a frequent request.
- What does the report include?
- Sampling locations, laboratory results, the same-day outdoor comparison, and a written interpretation of what the results mean for the building.
